EYENIGHT

EYENIGHT

A digital night vision device for visually impaired people

The Eyenight enables to see and move in poor visibility and in the dark. Eyenight consists of the goggles and a power-unit with power supply; a cable connects both parts. A micro camera located in the spectacle unit is used to record images.

These are then projected on two micro-displays in the spectacles, which can be seen by the user through display optics. Contrast and brightness can be manually adjusted on the power unit. If required, the glasses can provide additional illumination by infrared light sources. Pre requirement for optimal benefit: a residual sight of minimum 10% and a field of view of minimum 6 degrees. An optician can insert individual corrective / prescription lenses.

Thanks to Eyenight you can now not only see in the dark, but you can now also move around freely and unhindered in the dark. Thanks to Eyenight you can also see in bright sunlight without being blinded. The Eyenight has a built-in electronic zoom, thanks to which it is possible to magnify up to 10 times the image of the environment.

Any external source, ranging from video or television image, to computer images, can be connected to Eyenight: it will display them with a clear and crisp image.
