GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
COMPACT-DVR is an amazing new portable and miniaturized surveillance device, designed to be used as covert surveillance system or personal video recorder.
It is an instrument capable to record videos with MPEG compression, JPEG photos, all automatically, thanks to its built-in motion sensor. Because of its dimensions, low power consumption and impermeability, is ideal to be used both in indoor and outdoor places.
COMPACT-DVR is equipped with a 2.5 inches LCD monitor, and video out to be connected with an external monitor. Besides, it is supplied with a high speed USB 2.0 port to transfer video files (both incoming and outgoing), a screen menu and embedded software to make all settings and operations easy.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Waterproof combo A/V I/O connector and mini size. Integrated cabling, impermeability and minimum encumbrance make it become handy, easy to use and suitable to many situations.
- Worldwide video source and user friendly UI. Support both NTSC and PAL formats; OSD (On Screen Display) menu.
- Motion detect function. Recording can be triggered with detecting the moving object and will continue record until the object freezes. It also supports pre and post motion detect recording function.
- High resolution and multiple recording frame rate. Support HVGA (640X240) and VGA (640X480) high resolution and MEPG4 advanced image protocol; Support 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5fps.
- Easy back-up. Equipped with one SD holder, 512Mb onboard flash (not included) allows recording to be stored locally, and easily back-up by SD card reader or USB connection port.
- External Serial connector. 20 pins external connector for system future expansion. 3 DI for alarm input, 1 DO control on/off output, One 9 pins modem port, and one 3 pins TX/RX RS232 port.
- Power saving design. When plugging in the external monitor and the system is idling, the LCD will be turned-off automatically.
